BHRT is the management of the imbalances in the level of sex hormones and/or thyroid hormones. The purpose is to address the root cause of a variety of symptoms caused by this disruption in hormone levels and to promote healthy aging. The most common imbalance is the reduction of these hormones as we age. It starts in perimenopause and continues throughout the remainder of a woman’s life.
The average age for menopause is 51 years old. But perimenopause may start in a woman as early as in her late 30s or 40s. During perimenopause and menopause, a women’s ability to produce estrogen, testosterone and progesterone diminishes. This disruption causes a variety of symptoms. Some women chose to treat these symptoms with lifestyle changes and supplements. But for others BHRT improves their quality of life and replacement of these have hormones may have long term health benefits for many.

As a 55-year-old personal trainer and holistic health coach I’m highly invested in my own personal healthcare as well as the wellbeing of my clients. After starting menopause in my early 50’s I realized my body, mind, weight and sexual desire were all drastically changing. This was not only happening to me but most all my clients that were around my same age. Hormone imbalance made me feel like a stranger in my own body. I could not live with the mental fog, lack of sleep and all the other symptoms that come along with menopause. I started HRT 5 years ago and it changed my life!!! It gave me back my old self that I thought was gone forever. With Nurse Practitioner Ramsing’s help I found we can feel our best later in life!! I had no idea there were so many options that can help us live our BEST life in our 50’s….60’s and way beyond. I no longer experience any of these symptoms and have more energy, sleep better, improved mood than most any other time in my life. I honestly wish I started earlier. Genuinely, I tell every woman I meet and client I train to never settle for depression, frustration, weight gain, insomnia, lack of sex drive or whatever else they attribute to menopause. Don’t ever give up on the joy of sex!!! I thank God for Christine!! She is so genuine and compassionate in her care for my progress. What a breath of fresh air! She offers a free 15-minute consultation….what do you have to lose?
