Pinnacle Health LLC Statement Regarding SMS Texting
We understand the importance of protecting your health information and are committed to complying with HIPAA standards. By consenting to receiving SMS text messages from Pinnacle Health LLC, you acknowledge and agree to the following:
- Communication via Texting: You consent to receive communications via text message for appointment reminders, treatment follow-ups, and care coordination.
- Risks Associated with Texting: You understand that texting introduces risks such as unauthorized access, interception, insecure apps, and human error. Despite these risks, you consent to the use of text messaging for communication purposes.
- Secure Messaging Platforms: We will use secure messaging platforms designed for healthcare that offer HIPPA compliance and audit trails.
- Policies and Procedures: We have established and will enforce policies and procedures related to texting, outlining acceptable use, security measures, and incident response protocols.
- Pinnacle Health LLC will respond to text messages the same or next business day, during business hours.
- In case of an emergency always go to your nearest emergency facility or call 911.
By opting in to receive SMS messages from Pinnacle Health LLC, you agree to these Terms and Conditions (Terms).
SMS Messaging Service
By providing my phone number, I consent to receiving SMS text messages from Pinnacle Health LLC for appointment reminders and general two-way communication about my care.
Message Frequency
You will get more than one message from us unless you opt-out, and while messaging frequency varies, you will likely receive no more than 2 messages from us per month unless you initiate conversation in this manner. Pinnacle Health LLC does not require our patients to opt-in to SMS services to receive care or purchase goods.
Pinnacle Health LLC utilizes automated appointment reminders via SMS and will use SMS to contact you regarding your care if you request that we do so.
Pinnacle Health LLC reserves the right to alter the frequency of messages at any time to increase or decrease the total number of messages. Pinnacle Health LLC and carriers are not liable for delays or undelivered messages.

Message and data rates may apply based on your mobile carrier’s terms.

Cancellation/Opt-Out Instructions
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages at any time by replying STOP to any message we send you. After you opt out of text messaging, you will receive one additional message confirming your request has been processed.

Liability
